Marwa is an experienced leader with a diverse background across the public and private sector focused on public relations, policy design, international engagement and government affairs.

Marwa has worked for two tier 1 consulting firms (Deloitte & KPMG) and has worked across various portfolios including national and cyber security, energy, infrastructure development and ESG. She has also worked for the Department of Defence, Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission, Victorian Department of Premier and Cabinet and Victorian Mental Health Tribunal in a range of policy reform and project management capacities.

Marwa’s experience in the Victorian Government saw her contribute to Indigenous Affairs policy as well as the development of the Victoria Parliament’s Violent Extremism Report.

Marwa holds a master's degree in International Relations with a major in International Security and a Masters in Business Administration.

In addition, Marwa is currently the Chair of the Women’s Committee for Federation of Ethnic Communities Councils of Australia.
