Sean Doherty is an Associate at TG Public Affairs. Prior to joining, Sean worked for the Federal Minister for Youth and Early Childhood Education, Senator the Hon. Dr Jess Walsh and Victorian Minister for Veterans, Small Business and Youth, the Hon. Natalie Suleyman MP, providing advice on complex policy and parliamentary matters.

Outside of these portfolios, Sean has also managed complicated committee inquiries for the Chair of the Senate Economics Committee that have spanned financial services, critical minerals, housing and manufacturing legislation and policy. This experience has enabled Sean to become familiar with parliamentary committee processes and how industry can constructively engage with government in highly regulated sectors.

Sean holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of Melbourne and a Master of Public Policy (with Distinction) from the Crawford School at the Australian National University.
