Tess is a Senior Associate and former public policy professional with extensive expertise in strategic policy development, legislation, stakeholder engagement, and project delivery. Most recently, she served as Senior Advisor, Policy and Planning, within the Bushfire and Forest Services Group at the Victorian Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action.

Tess has worked across a range of environmental policy areas in the Victorian Public Service, including waste management and recycling, forestry and fire management, and public land. She has been instrumental in delivering significant milestones for high-profile initiatives, such as the Victorian Government's transition away from native timber harvesting and the creation of a framework for managing high-risk and hazardous waste sites
